Newell has been pator at Zion, Leola, PA for 18 years. He serves on the Lower Susquehanna Synod Committee for Evangelism and Outreach..VBS at Zion attracted up to 200 children per night with only 23% from Zion. Newell is convinced that renewal can take place where there is commitment to prayer and Bible study by leaders and congregation.

Well, then you won’t want to come to this workshop. We will spend our time looking at the hard work of transformation, both personal and congregational. Can we move from a merely welcoming posture in our congregations to an incarnational posture? Have some fun and above all be in pray and open to the Holy Spirit as you prepare to attend this event.
