Derek serves as pastor of First Lutheran Church in Lexington. Several members of First Lutheran who have been trained through the NC Synod and the US Forest Service for the purpose of responding after a natural disaster will help in the workshop
Evangelical Disaster Response
After experiencing several Disaster Response trips to the Gulf area, several volunteers will share their insights as to what Disaster Response is, why we do it, and how this work is evangelical in nature.
